Who are we?

Columbus Canine & Co is a licensed, insured and bonded dog walking & pet sitting company operated under Pooch and You, LLC. We strive to offer professional pet care to the Columbus Ga area! Our well-trained staff has experience with all types of pets, not just dogs and cats!

CC&Co is owned and operated by Devon Moree. He is trained in dog and cat behavior/body language as well as experienced in care with all types of animals, from birds and lizards to horses and cattle and of course dogs and cats! CC&Co's clients can take comfort in knowing his knowledge base and continuing education will extend to the staff as well, so we can provide the best and professional care in Columbus, GA and the surrounding areas!

Yes, anyone can walk a dog, but do you really want just anyone? Our staff goes through extensive training on pet behavior and body language as well as managing any type of scenario they could encounter while caring for pets. 

We are experienced in caring for pets with special medical or behavioral concerns as well. We are trained to monitor health and behavior and are insured and bonded to ensure your time away from home is worry free!

Let's be honest: anyone can feed a cat or walk a dog. But what happens if...

- your cat exhibits early signs of bladder stones - would they be recognized?

- your dog slips out of it's collar and runs off - what would the next step be? 

- your pet care provider is injured or sick - who will continue care? 

- another unexpected situation arises - will your caretaker know what to do?

We do not have a facility, nor do we offer any services in our personal homes.

How it works:

To get started with our services, please send us an email or shoot us a text. We will need your email address so you can set up your online client portal. Through the portal scheduling, paying and contact with your sitter is all in one convenient location! 

Once you fill out all of the necessary information on the client portal, we can schedule an initial consultation, free of charge! During this time Devon will come to your house to meet you and your “crew” to make sure each are a good fit for the other. We will also chat about services, see where everything is located, and answer any further questions. At this time we will also collect a key for us to keep to access your home.  

After the consultation, any and all visits can be scheduled via the client portal! Once approved, an invoice will be sent to you, which you can pay online. If you would rather pay another way, we can do that too! Just let us know during the consultation. We also require payment in full before our first visit for “staycations”. If you are wanting regular visits, we offer billing on the 1st and 15th of every month. 

Although we love that your pet’s have lots of friends, we ask that no one besides CC&Co employees visit with your pets while in our care. This is to ensure there is no confusion for their specific needs as well as any accidents/double feedings/missing animals/etc. Because we are insured and bonded, you are covered if anything were to happen while in our care, however that is not the case while “sharing” visits. If you believe you have any special circumstances or another non-pet related person coming into your home while we’re there (housekeeper, maintenance, etc) please let us know ahead of time or during your consultation.
